Coastal Homes – our history 
Ahmet (the founder of Coastal Homes ) dreamed from an early stage in his career to set up in business about home decoration.   In 2002,  Ahmet was introduced to the CEO of a big European retail company selling furniture and accessories.  As a result of that meeting, a business was established to produce a new range of high quality furniture itemsfor this European brand.   

In 2005, Ahmet started to distribute this range himself and opened a showroom in Istanbul. Soon after, he identified a market for  comfortable, well designed,contemporary furniture which also provided excellent value for money compared with other products on the market. The following year, they started producing both wooden and upholstered furniture for their own shop and for European retail companies. 


In 2008, he decided to create own collection, and sold the first Coastal Homes collection to retailers/distributors who were seeking a high quality product of stylish, comfortable, European style furniture at a reasonable cost. The characteristic Coastal Homes style might be described as a modern interpretation of American New England and French Provence design.         


      
Coastal Homes is now sold in 12 countries, from Iran to the United Kingdom, Belgium to Cyprus, Greece to Turkey, Germany to Holland.  It is stocked in over 60 shops across the globe. 

Founder, Ahmet Tipi says “What the company is always striving to achieve is high quality furniture which will last, and become well loved pieces within people’s homes. Our customers share meals around our tables and live their life amongst our furniture.  We want to make sure that we, and they, can enjoy it and be proud of it for many years.”
